Working with us couldn't be easier
Typically our commissions process involves 4 key stages but regardless of how we work together it all starts with a quick + friendly chat about your ideas and how we can help bring them to life.

Our process begins with a high-level brief from you.
We’ll have an initial meeting / call for you to share your ideas; Here we’ll seek to gain an understanding of your needs, tastes, budget and space.

Once we have digested your brief, the design process begins.
Here we’ll combine your ideas / needs with our experience as designer makers to develop a bespoke design concept, uniquely tailored to you and your requirements.
During this process, we may share initial sketches / ideas with you as we hone in on the perfect concept, typically culminating in a final design presentation where we can talk you through the forms, functionalities and finishes proposed for your piece alongside an estimate on costs and timings.
Once you’ve reviewed the design and confirmed you’re happy to proceed we will invoice you for a deposit (50%) which will secure your project in the workshop schedule and allow us to begin ordering materials so that they’re ready for the build.

This is where the magic happens.
Build duration will vary significantly depending on the size and complexity of the piece but typically projects are built within 4 - 16 weeks.
We will of course keep you informed on progress / estimated completion and are more than happy to provide regular updates across the build if this is something you’re interested in.

Today’s the day!
On a pre-arranged date we will deliver your furniture. Typically we do this ourselves to ensure everything goes perfectly and so that we can provide any required maintenance instructions + answer any questions you might have.
